THE RIGHT MINDSET

This is actually very simple to summarize: everyone involved needs to understand and to feel that we can solve climate, but only together. We need each other. And we need to act fast. There is no way around it. Never before have we faced a challenge that affects humanity to such an extent and magnitude. This unprecedented threat can only be faced by every nation and every city joining forces and responding as one.

A “GOOD ENOUGH” ROAD MAP

When it comes to climate emergency, it is impossible to do an exact plan into every detail for reaching net zero emissions. When confronted with a large, complex problem like the one we are facing, a problem characterised by constant changes and an indefinite number of variables, we need to build a different kind of plan. A roadmap that gives a very clear direction, but at the same time is flexible, allows changes and maximizes the opportunity to share and to learn together on the way.

GREAT COLLABORATION TOOLS AND PROCESSES

We need to work with tools and processes that allow us all to work together and that has the capacity to support learning from and sharing with each other. A great example of that is Panorama, a digital roadmap of Sweden’s current and proposed activities, as well as its progress made to date. The Panorama dashboard was developed by ClimateView and encourages collaborative working to bring faster, more efficient change by breaking the overall climate goal into manageable steps.
