Panel - Reclaiming control of net-zero: Perspectives from London Boroughs

Manon Morel Thu, 03 June 2021

When: June 30th 2021 | 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM BST

We’re excited to be taking part in London Climate Action Week 2021, the annual event bringing together world-leading climate professionals and communities across London and beyond to find practical solutions to climate change.

As part of LCAW, we will be organising a panel discussion bringing together London boroughs, to talk about how to regain control of net-zero

Now more than ever, local authorities are grappling with the need to create comprehensive, credible and action-oriented Climate Action Plans that can actually deliver - brought into sharp focus by national commitments ahead of COP26.

London boroughs will gather to discuss their experiences of the climate action planning process, and how individually and collectively they can reclaim greater control of their net-zero goals. We will cover the reclaiming and operationalisation of climate data, use of technology, along with the vital topics of collaboration and alignment between plans.

Join us for a conversation between the boroughs of Islington, Hammersmith and Fulham and Hounslow, moderated by Orren Shalit, Community Director at ClimateView.
