Google and ClimateView are partnering up

Integrating Google's extensive environmental data with ClimateView's analytical tools.
STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN – Google and ClimateView are partnering up. Combined, the duo provides the world’s largest accessible data source for activities (Google EIE), with the data framework and platform used by 135+ cities, regions and nations (ClimateView) to accelerate the sustainability transition.
"In order to bring about sustainable transformation, local policy makers need access to robust environmental intelligence and data. This is where Google can help. Through our Environmental Insights Explorer, cities can explore a range of data - transportation emissions, building emissions, solar rooftop potential and tree canopy coverage - to inform, track and drive climate action at the local level. Through partnerships with organizations like ClimateView, we can also take steps to ensure our data is interoperable and can be operationalized in the right way by cities - whether for urban planning, monitoring, introducing interventions, or reporting."
– Aron Di Castro, Director Geo Sustainability Partnerships, Google.
